Who are we?
Our studio was established in 1987 and has been teaching adults the art of partnership dance for over 20 years! Fred Astaire South Indy is a full time school of dance where students enjoy learning a variety of exciting, romantic dances: Waltz, Salsa, Swing, Fox Trot, Cha Cha, Rumba, Tango, Mambo, Samba, Hustle, Slow Dance, Argentine Tango, and more. From our Beginner to Advanced customized dance programs, we make it our business to provide our students with an outstanding education in social dance. We also specialize in wedding preparation, community events, showcases, and competition dancing.
Our experienced dance instructors are passionate and have made teaching dance a career. They are trained to meet the individual needs of students. Our staff studies and teaches a curriculum that is current and fresh, setting a standard of excellence in this industry. Our studio offers private, personalized dance instruction along with weekly group lessons and dance parties. This three-way system of teaching has been proven to be the most effective way to help you reach your goals in dance.
Community Programs
Fred Astaire South Indy is actively involved in serving the community through a wide range of programs. Qualified instructors are available for your group or organization. We have programs for company parties, private parties, fund raisers, church events, and schools.
Youth Programs
Partnership dancing is a great way to develop excellent social skills, respect, confidence, poise, grace, rhythm, and coordination. Private lessons, group lessons, competitions, and showcases are available to help youth develop their skills in dance and grow as individuals.

- Receive personalized one-on-one lessons Mon – Fri 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Sat 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.
- Attend weekly group lessons every Friday Night at 8:00 pm.
- Enjoy fun practice parties Friday Nights 8:30 pm – 10:00 pm.
