Introductory Course
We offer an introductory course designed to get you started in your dance education. You will be introduced to your teacher, our facility, and the three-way system of teaching (private lessons, group lessons, and practice sessions). Most importantly, your introductory lesson will provide you with a better understanding of how and what you will be taught, allowing you to make an informed decision about our school. You can begin your education in dance immediately! Call us today to schedule your private lesson.
Whether you're learning to dance socially, preparing for a wedding or cruise, or working towards competition, we can customize an instructional program for your needs. Our dances include:

Private and Group Instruction The unique Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studio teaching method includes regularly scheduled private instruction as well as group technique lessons. Private instruction provides each student with the specialized and personalized attention necessary to develop the ability to lead or follow a partner. Private lessons can be with one student or a couple. Group lessons are an important aid to private instruction. They provide an additional opportunity for learning among others with similar interests and goals.
Parties and Dancing Events Practice Parties are held weekly and allow students to practice their figures in a social setting. The lights are turned down, refreshments are served, and a variety of music is played. Students learn to connect music to specific dances, enjoy spotlights performed by other students and professionals, practice with their partner and/or other students, and meet some really great people!
In addition to our weekly events, we host holiday parties, support the Indiana Roof Big Band Dance Series, and have exhibitions throughout the year. Competitions The world-class regional and national Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studio competitions offer our students the chance to compete against other amateur dancers from across North America.
