We started at the studio approximately three years ago and we never thought we'd love social dancing, but we do. The instructors are terrific and very friendly and we look forward to our weekly lessons. An extra bonus is that we've developed some fabulous friendships along the way. This is (hands down) the best dance studio in town.

We have taken lessons at Fred Astaire Studio (formerly Dance Masters) for nine years. We've continued lessons because (1) we are taught to dance as a couple, (2) we enjoy the fact that we are not "sold" lessons, (3) have received excellent instruction and (4) have met others over the years who have become our best friends.

Fred Astaire South Indy is a great place to learn to dance. The experience starts when you walk into the beautiful studio and are welcomed with a friendly greeting. The instructors are all highly skilled and you are able to see your progress and have fun at the same time. We look forward to our lessons and getting together with other students for the Friday night sessions or at other events in which the studio participates. Whatever your desire, whether it is to have fun social dancing, get ready for a special occasion or be a competitor this is THE place to come.

My wife and I have been taking lessons at Fred Astaire South Indy for four years. The quality of dance instruction is excellent. We have been challenged to develop our dancing skills as quickly as we can; the only limit on our progress is the amount of effort we devote to learning and practicing new material. I highly recommend this studio for someone who wants to get the most from the experience.

The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoy every lesson, and have met many wonderful people through Dance Master!

This is the best dance studio ever! Compared to the other studio we tried Dance Master instructors were very open to teaching us what we wanted to learn and their focus was definitely on teaching and dancing, NOT on selling another "package" of lessons. I highly recommend them.

My experience with this studio has been wonderful. They really cater to the specific needs of their students. The instructors are all genuine, and eager to make you comfortable. You have so much fun, and meet lots of great people, that are interested in social dancing. There is no pressure to perform like dancing with the stars, but they will have you up and dancing like them in no time! (taken from local yahoo review)
